Sydney, Australia

This is our bed for the last month at Dave's house in Sydney.  All of our belongings are hidden in a secret compartment under Kelly.   Shhh... don't tell anyone.  A special huge thanks to Dave for letting us stay with him for so long.  We love you dude!
This is Fluffy, Dave's fish.  He is a Japanese Fighting Fish, and he rules the tank
Sweet
The amazing fireworks show at Sydney Harbour on New Year's Eve
This is me with a pink beard and a bottle of scotch taped to my back.  It was the only way to sneak it in past security.  How old am I again?
Waverly beach, we came across it on our 5k cliff run from Bondi Beach to Coogee Beach.

This is a "homeless" person's "house".  He put up some tarps around a jut in the cliff and seemingly lives there undeterred.  Some people pay millions for his view.
Bondi Beach in the background.  If you look closely you can see a helicopter in the sky.  That is shark-patrol, and this day was particularly "sharky'.
Me driving on the right side of the car.  Not the correct side, but the right side.  You know what I mean.
Super Dave learns to bowl, and gets a wicked strike.  Stunner!
Walking across the Harbour Bridge, with the Sydney Opera House in the background.
The Harbour Bridge.  Basically the opposite view from the previous picture.
The Opera House at night.  I took this one from the ferry heading back to Manly Beach.
The horse races on Boxing Day (Dec. 26th).  We won 250$ on the 5 horse in our first race and decided to quit while we were ahead.
Christmas Eve with Kelly, Me, Dave and his brother Matt.
This is me with Kel, Maggie (Dave's Mom), Ken (Dave's stepdad), and Dave.  Thanks so much to Mags and Ken for making us feel so much at home while being so far away.
This is our Christmas tree.  Oh Tannenbaum, oh Tannenbaum.
This is where we worked for the past month.  On the beach in Manly.  This is Christmas day, a little overcast, but I still worked without my shirt.  We rented lounge chairs, deck chairs, surfboards, bodyboards, flippers and snorkel sets, wetsuits, towels, rashies, and generally gave fake advice about the best places to surf, etc.  Special thanks to Pete for hooking us up with such a cool job and generally being a great dude.
The view of Manly Beach from our work tent.
Dave wanted to make us feel at home.  But instead of snow he came at me with a bag of flour.  Pretty close.  A little more sticky, though.
Dave's brother Matt doing an impression of his alter ego.
My birthday... Kelly made it very special and we went out for Japanese Teppinyaki.  It was great fun!
Look how excited I am about turning 23!!!!!
This is us at the Japanese restaurant. Our British friends who traveled with us through all of Southeast Asia, Sam and Iain, made it out and even brought me a bottle of Scotch.  I love them!

This is our authentic Asian chef named Steve.  On the right is our friend Ian with Dave.  On the left is me, the English Iain, and Sam.
ready for the flying bowl of rice.  I'm really good at it.
Kelly is not really good at it
Before we went out to dinner
Super Dave can fly, but only when he is fueled by alcohol
Shopping...  What?
